Hi David,
Duke Energy wants to increase your energy bill again – and, as usual, they want big money with little transparency. Can you speak out against rate hikes on Monday, February 3rd at 7:00pm in Raleigh? RSVP here.
The NC Utilities Commission (NCUC) will soon decide if they’ll allow Duke Energy to raise your energy bill by roughly $17 per month. The proposal could pave the way for bigger increases in the future. Below you’ll find more information on the hearing.
What: NCUC Rate Hike Public Hearing
When: Monday, February 3 at 7:00pm
Where: Dobbs Building (Commission Hearing Room 2115), 430 North Salisbury Street, Raleigh, NC 27603
Click here to RSVP to the hearing.
If you can attend, we hope you will consider reading a comment at the hearing (we can send you all the materials you’ll need). We know this is a big ask, and you don’t have to speak to attend, but it’s crucial that the NCUC hears from voices like yours. North Carolinian’s can’t afford rate hikes for dirty energy.

I hope you can
make it,
