There will be no NetWare 7, instead NetWare 6.5 users can
run NW6.5 on top of a new OES 2 (SuSE SLES 10 SP1).
OES = (Novell's) Open Enterprise Server which will run on SLES.
The latest and last Service Pack for NetWare 6.5 is SP7, now out.
There won't be any more releases of NetWare, just patches and support packs
NetWare 6.5
SP7, the latest and final SP, was released on 10/8/2007.
NetWare 6.5 patch level SP 6 was released on 3/26/2007.
NetWare 6.5 Support Pack 6 List of Fixes
NetWare 6.5 SP5a was released on Noveber 6, 2006 and requires a NetWare
License. Download NetWare 6.5 SP6 (click here). There will be no NetWare 7.
NetWare users will be running on SuSE Linux with NetWare 6.5 software.
The last Service Pack for NetWare 6.5 is SP7, is now released (10/8/2007) .
There won't be anymore releases of NetWare, just patches and support packs.
NW 6.5 SP6 is the minimum requirement to get the new NetWare
storage Failover drivers. You may wish to consider getting SP7.
